Overview

Your privacy is important to us. When we sell an insurance policy, we need information about the person or property being insured. We consider this information private and have taken steps to keep it confidential. This Privacy Policy applies to Insurox Group, including our website (insurox.com) and the Insurox mobile app, and describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information.

Information We Collect

Most of the information we collect comes directly from you during the application process. This may include:

  • Name, address, email address, and phone number
  • Driver's license information and motor vehicle records
  • Credit and insurance score information from consumer reporting agencies
  • Property details and inspection reports for home or building insurance
  • Health information when relevant to underwriting (e.g., driving limitations)
  • Payment history and claims records once you are insured

We may also verify your information through insurance support organizations, government agencies, or independent reporting companies.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and underwrite insurance applications
  • Service your existing policies and settle claims
  • Calculate accurate rates and pricing
  • Communicate important policy updates and billing notices
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

Text Message Consent

By providing a phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Insurox for marketing and non-marketing purposes, including automated messages where permitted by law. To opt out, reply STOP to any message or email us at privacy@insurox.com. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Mobile App

The Insurox mobile app gives active clients secure access to their own insurance information. In addition to the practices described above, the app involves the following:

  • Account sign-in. You can sign in using your phone number, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. When you use Apple or Google sign-in, we receive only the basic identifiers needed to match your account (such as your name and email address); we never receive your Apple or Google password.
  • Biometric unlock. If you enable Face ID or fingerprint unlock, that biometric authentication is performed entirely on your device by Apple or Google. Your biometric data is never transmitted to or stored by Insurox.
  • Your insurance data. The app displays your own policies, quotes, documents, certificates, and insurance ID cards. This information is retrieved over an encrypted connection and shown only to your authenticated account.
  • Push notifications. If you allow notifications, we store a device push token so we can send you policy and service updates. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
  • Roxy assistant. Messages you send to Roxy, our in-app assistant, are processed to answer your questions about your coverage and are handled under this Policy.

We do not use mobile device data for advertising, and we do not sell it. App access is limited to active Insurox clients.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your information with:

  • Our affiliated property and casualty insurance companies
  • Independent claim adjusters or investigators
  • Insurance support organizations and consumer reporting agencies
  • Service providers who assist with our business operations
  • Government agencies or law enforcement when required by law

Any third parties we share data with are required to use it only for the purposes we specify.
